dataMate Products developed this six port SFP cage to be fully compliant with the Multi-Source Agreement Specification (MSA). The cage can be used in either copper or optical applications. Multi-port SFP cages allows for higher density designs and greater PCB space savings. dataMate offers multi-port SFP cages in various sizes; 1x2 1x3, 1x4, and 1x6, with either press-fit or solder post tails as well as various pin lengths. The multi-port SFP cage can be used for many protocols, including Fibre Channel, Gigabit Ethernet and Infiniband.
