dataMate Products developed the Copper SFP to HSSDC2 transceiver to be compliant with the Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) Multi-Source Agreement (MSA). The module supports Fibre Channel to 2.125 Gbps, Gigabit Ethernet to 2.5 Gbps and Infiniband to 2.5 Gbps. The HSSDC2 module is a high performance integrated duplex data link for bi-directional communication over copper cable. The hot pluggable feature allows insertion or removal of the transceiver without the need to remove power from the system.
